What are the minimum requirements for motorcycle registration?

Anyone know, for sure, is an NIE and a six-month rental contract enough to get local plates on my motorcycle?

If not, what is the minimum?

No, current plates are french.

you just need an NIE and passport but the French papers have to be in your name.

Hi Desperate Dan, I have done a few matriculations but for the last one I used Jesus who matriculates car for a living. He is based in the north but every Friday he comes to the south. The normally quiet restaurant Hollywood in Gran Sur has every table filled on a Friday at 13:00 and Jesus walks in with an arm full of number plates and dishes them out to his waiting clients. He takes no money up front, pays all the taxes and ITV himself. You only pay him when you receive your new Nº plates. He has done cars for friends of mine that have been knocked back by "the system" before. If you call him on his business phone 670702994 he will arrange to meet you for a quote. I paid 1250€ including all taxes ITV etc for a Porsche Boxster after having quotes as high as 5300€!!!!! A really nice guy and great service.
