Sea activities in Medano?

What activities are available in maybe the Medano area of Tenerife? We are thinking along the lines of surfing, sailing, boat hire etc.
We would love to have someone show us/give lessons as we are complete beginners. Thanks.

Plenty types of surfing available boards kites canoeing paddle boards all available along with lessons no water sking available or boat hire as far as I know
Children's classes are also available
