Can anyone suggest any people to see or places to go on our visit to Tenerife?

My fiancée and I are coming to Tenerife for 8 nights end of august. We have been a few times before but usually end up laying on the beach all day and then going to Eugenes for our night entertainment. This time I want to do something different or go different places, is there anything you guys recommend? We are 28, very sociable and like a drink. We like music and are probably more mature than most 28 year olds but do love a good laugh, we wont be visiting veronicas in the evenings. So any recommendations would be much appreciated. Quizzes, bands, any entertainment.... day or night. Thanks.

Theres a live band on at Harleys most nights, good quizzes at The Original Wigan Pier at Mareverde or at the Sun Inn at Sunset Bay, both near where you go at San Eugenes.
Then if you walk further on, past the shopping centre there is the Pheasant Plucker and a few other bars with plenty of things going on.

Thanks red devil. All places my parents recommended. Do they do entertainment in the day, like quizzes or bands, maybe live music? Its the day time that we get bored.
