    Suggests wanted for places to visit and shopping in the North of the Island

    HI all, we are visiting in April for a week plan is to hire a car for a cpl of days to see the island, we are staying down south but plan to head north, any nice things to see. also wife will want shipping so pleas advise a big shopping center too. thanks all xxJ

    Nice one tintin. If shipping out wife head up motoway to Santa Cruz, big dockings there. If going shop turn left toward North aerodrome, big shoppings on left.

    In my opinion it's really not worth spending a day shopping in Tenerife if you've only got a weeks holiday.
    Quite honestly even Santa Cruz doesn't compare at all to a typical town centre in England.
    Much better to sample interesting restaurants!
