Can anyone tell me if Adeslas covers the 20 weeks pregnancy scan?

Can anyone tell me if Adeslas covers 20weeks pregnancy scan and if so, how much they are charging? Is there any difference in which hospital or clinic to do it? I havent worked in Tenerife yet, so I dont have social security number. Is there any chance I could do the scan in Candelaria for free only with NIE?

Are you already insured with Adeslas?

If not then no, I have just taken private insurance out with them and there is a nine month waiting period before they cover you for serious illness for reasons exactly like this, they won´t cover serious illness or pregnancy as they don´t want people to join purely and simply for bringing existing conditions with them, and the chances of doing the scan for free are pretty much less than none if you aren´t registered on the social.

My advice would be to get a job with social paid ASAP (highly unlikely if you are 5 months pregnant) or go back to the UK, having a baby here isn´t cheap if you don´t have Social medical cover.
