Getting a hip replacement in Tenerife

I am fed up with waiting for the NHS to give me a date for a hip replacement, as it is getting worse. I have health insurance in Tenerife with Medifiatc and wonder if anyone has any experience or advice for getting it done here. Thank you very much to anyone who can give me advice.

I have several friends who have had a new hip under the Health Service her and all very satisfactory a couple of them went to the Belle view which is part of Hospiten I think and another 2 in the Universitario. My next door neighbour has now had both done under her private Insurance but I think her Insurance was AXA
