    Various restaurants last week

Last week we had the time of our lives in numerous restaurants, of which I shall name a few.

Pascals, Los Cristianos. Excellent. Our friends who live over in Tenerife took us for a belated birthday meal and it was magnificent. Paella amuse bouche, gratin starters which were like mini tagines, tornedo rosiini and a chocolate dessert. A few bottles of wine including two Ribera del Duero. A must visit if you can.

el Corte, Los Cristianos. Just around the corner from Pascals. We went here one afternoon while we were at the beach. Boquerones, two chorizo, anchovies and three cheeses. Red and white wine and a beer to start. A lovely afternoon.

Celso, La Caleta. We came here in 1996 for the first time and it is still as lovely. A full afternoon of seafood and swimming. Plenty of shade if it gets too warm if you don't fancy jumping off the rocks into the waves.

Costa Adeje Cafe. Opposite Harleys so easy to find. This is a real gem and the pizzas are to die for. We went twice it was that good. Don't let the 'cafe' name deter you, it's not like any cafe I've been in. Lovely cocktails too.

Good to see you got around a bit...and to hear the places you went to are still good.. Love Pascals and El Celso in La Caleta.
Must give Adeje Cafe a try.....cheers

We also visited Oasis in Adeje one night. Usual simple chicken, chips and salad, two bottles of wine, four beers, €53.

On Saturday we went shopping at Gran Sur. We had a coffee whilst shopping, three adults, two children. Four coffees, two soft drinks, two pain au chocolats, a savoury croissant and a brownie. Grand total of €16.50. How much would that have been in the UK?
