ordered itemd from amazon, customs asks for tax id

Just ordered some stuff from amazon and it asks me for tax id. I dont have one, what can I do?
Shipping is done by ups.
Worst case scenario: Can I change the name to my friend's and add his NIF?

last friday i order the 30 years of back to the future thru amazon.uk and i got it in yesterday in the mail i didn´t pay no tax or customes on it. man!! that´s super fast coming from the u.k. maybe you order alot of things thru amzon and customes want a tax id on it?

I found it depends how the wind blows, Fed ex delivered my last parcel from Amazon, which because of a delay in their paperwork was held up in customs, who then wanted to charge 84 euros for the privilege of storing for three days. I refused and sent it back. Ive had Amazon uk through the correos and have been charged on two occasions but Ive had other things from Amazon UK and not paid anything.
