    Road Tax

Hi I bought a car in tenerife and took it back to France. I have had to scrap the car in France and I understand that i will need to send the log book etc back to Tenerife to let them know that i have destroyed the car. As the car is now destroyed I don't want the road tax to mount up each year! Can anyone tell me the correct department to send all the paperwork to? Is it Trafico in Santa Cruz? Thanks

Yes it is Trafico in Santa Cruz, but find out first what they need. French documents might need translating etc. Otherwise it will take you ages to get the car deregistered.
