We are a couple with a young daughter looking for
a place to stay - first on a rental basis and later perhaps buying one
preferably a casa rural or older house with garden around adeje/ arona area.

My partner (Spanish) will be working in Adeje and we want to minimise transportation time.
Our 3 year old daughter needs schooling (thinking about Echeyde unless receiving better ideas).
Myself, I do not have a job yet but would like to start planting our herb-/ vegetable garden, hence the need of some plantable soil around the house.

We are not looking for space or small local community, close enough to roads to school, work, nearby town.
We speak Spanish.

How can we best go about looking for a new home in the adeje/ arona area? Agents? Private contacts?
Is it a good area to live?
Is bicycle a good idea instead of a second car? Or what is the public transportation like there?

Too many questions... sorry.
