It's also probs hay fever, Malty Mo, in addition to the cold/flu/double pneumonia with complications!! It's the rape you know! I never used to get hay fever, but I do now. It's these damn farmers!!!

Another fabulous day today although I spent most of the morning in hospital having an eye check. Am now passed nearly fit and can get contact lenses in both eyes again. I get to see my dishy consultant in another two month's time when I hope he will sign me off. I think he has shares in the hospital car park. I was in there for just over three hours and it cost me £5.10!!!!!!

Anyway, rant over so back to the weather. Lots of sunshine up till about 6pm when it went a bit hazy. The OH says he smells, oh hang on a minute, he says he smells a change in the weather so I suspect there will be thunderstorms before the end of the week. Top temp today at home was 24.0C (75.2F) with the same light wind as last week.

What annoys me about the dentist we seem to be the only 2 that have to pay, everybody else seems to be on some benefit or other so they get treatment for free. I think me and my missus paid for his new Merc between us. I cancelled my last appointment, told him I couldn't afford dental treatment and 3 months in Tenerife.

Hey, Ts, where is all this free dentistry? I have yet to find a dentist who will do anything for free even if I offer him my body!!! And, the OH. Even on the Reef he had to pay out 190 Euros to get a temporary filling!!!!!!!

Oh, well. The weather today was once again blazing hot and sunny and is now beginning to get a bit boring. Top temp 23.7C (74.7F) and almost continuous sunshine apart from the odd wisp of cloud and an occasional slipstream from an aircraft heading across the Atlantic for parts foreign!!

Forecast says it can't last, but then the forecast this year was for a changeable and showery summer so I don't believe a word of it.

NB. Gosh, now the evenings have started drawing in already!!!!!

The weather is on the change now. The day started with lots of sunshine again but high cloud drifted in from time to time and then the sky became overcast this evening. However, all the washing was dry so no complaints!! Top temp for the day was 22.3C (72.1F) and the wind was a little stronger at Force 5 and has now moved round to the East! The OH is hoping for rain as long as it isn't too heavy because he needs it for his crops as not much is growing at the moment!

Lucky you...

We have plenty you can borrow if you like?

Today is Warrington Walking Day...lol. I'm sure something similar will happen in Oldham. Basically the town grinds to a halt for a few hours while a million schoolkids and brass bands parade through the town centre and people run out and give them money. It's a church thing and goes back years.

Anyway one thing you can always count on is the weather on this day...:rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::r ain::rain:

Started to rain at 4 pm thank you very much,

We have Whit walks here, which would you believe takes place on Whit Sunday and then the Saddleworth Band contests the following friday. Oldham carnival used to be a huge affair held in August with marching bands and floats from all over the north of England, reduced now to a bit of do in the local park. It was last Saturday. My OH is from Leigh, used to be a big thing there years ago.

It is a lovely part of the country to explore. We have been to Moreton-in-Marsh on a previous visit and agree its a lovely place. The rain went off early afternoon and its been nice and bright...........no sunshine
but not really bothered as long as its dry. Thinking about Windsor Castle tomorrow.

Lovely sunshine from lunchtime onwards, all the washing dry and the OH mowed the caravan park and the garden, so we are looking all pretty!! Top temp for the day was 19.6C (67.3F) and we achieved 7mm of rain last night and this morning.

Home from my travels, and very nice it was too, we have a beautiful sunny evening and by the state of my pot plants there has not been much rain in my part of the world over the weekend

I thought growing pot was illegal??:D:D:D

On the West Coast of Gods Country it's a lot duller and cooler than yesterday.

I'm considering cancelling the work planned for Carol on the garden shed roof, as I noticed yesterday when I went into the spare bedroom for my afternoon nap, that there was quite a pile of ironing to be done!rolleyes2:

A lack of discipline!!!!!¡!!!:D:p

Grey, warm and sunny here on Paddyville.:D:D:p:p

An absolute scorcher today with wall to wall sunshine all the way. Top temp 25.6C (78.1F) and the pressure is still rising. However, the weather forecast is for all of July to be hot and sunny down here, so I'm worried. Last year they said we would have ten years of very wet summers and look what happened!! Let's hope that El Niño does his stuff as the Americans have been predicting and those northern Celts could be growing pineapples next year!!!

Yet another lovely warm day, although a bit cloudy in the early evening. Still warm here - 16C - but the hottest during the day was 22.3C (72.1F). We could do with a nice long light shower overnight, but so far nothing has happened.
