It's the same here, a lovely sunny start to the day, perfect for a run up to Alexandria and onwards to Loch Lomand, but not for pleasure, returning curtains for the third time.....talk about women and their right to change their mind...this is taking it too far! :D

Solar panel installation planned for today has been postponed. They've found a wasps nest in the roof space and they won't go near it. It's about as big as a golf ball and I can see all of two wasps, FFS.

She's OK ish, the gall bladder drain has now dried up, we don't know if this is normal or what as her follow up appointment is another 5 weeks away. for the last week or so she's had the runs and is sometimes sick first thing in the morning. She's seen her GP who is trying to contact the consultant for advice. We've been out this morning for a couple of hours and she was OK. Alright in herself now but the crocodile pills she's taking are making her snappy.:bite:

Blimmin ek' ... it was 31c in Dover yesterday... a nice "cool" but sticky 24.6 at the moment..
Clammy in Fife too but sun starting to come through - ish!!!! Last nights lightning show was something else. It lasted well into the wee sma' hours, haven't seen anything like it for a long time, both sheet and forked lightning and claps of thunder. Had to watch it as couldn't sleep anyway!!!!!!

Clearing up a bit now. Currently in Llandudno for coffee and just about to head over to Abersoch to meet up with family for lunch....

well what a day we have had. started lovely so i got the 2 new helicopter sunbeds out that took me about 6 hours to assemble:laugh:, just about to read the papers and the heavens opened up:(, had to quickly partly disassemble them to store in the shed so as not to get wet, came inside, and as soon as i shut the door it's 90 degrees again:laugh: i thought sod it i ain't playin, and it's been fine all afternoon:laugh:

Hardly a breeze here and the sea is like a mirror, a cruise ship just sailed by with a couple of tugs in attendance and it was quite a sight with the reflection on the water.

I'm not knocking Santa Cruz (much), but it's sea views are nothing compared to the mountain and sea views that we have....it's just a pity that we don't get the same amount of sunshine. :)

She's struggling a bit since the gallbladder drain has dried up, sickness and the runs most days. Managed to get the consultants appointment brought forward, saw him on Monday, he seemed quite pleased with her progress and thinks the sickness etc is a normal part of the recovery process, but he's ordered a scan so we're waiting on that. The plan is if the gallbladder shrinks and becomes none existent there will be no need for an op.
Is that instead of hair Ted?.....:lol:
